Executive Director Position: Chemung County Historical Society

The Chemung County Historical Society in Elmira, NY (in the southern Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York) is seeking an energetic and hard-working individual to lead the Society and its AAM-accredited Chemung Valley History Museum and Library. The institution is financially stable, supported by an active Board and by the community, and offers a full range of programming. Its growing museum is housed in a historic building. Immediate challenges include oversight of a minor renovation project, direction of a strategic planning process, and reinstallation of the permanent exhibit. Interviews by May 15.
