Newly Redesigned 2-1-1 HELPLINE Website Now Live!
|
The 2-1-1 HELPLINE website has been revamped over the past several months, and the new site is now available! In addition to searching for community connections, visitors may now access news about resources and volunteer opportunities, trending topics, specialized fact sheets, and seasonal materials.
The search system has been designed to help people find the resources they need, through Suggested Searches (which may be adjusted based on the traffic we are seeing in the contact center, e.g.), or keyword search. The resource information (agencies, programs, sites) is connected directly to our master database, so information is updated instantaneously.
Seasonal highlights will link to information about National Volunteer Week, Summer Food Service Programs, School Supplies, Holiday Caring, as well as resources associated with trending needs or important announcements. Many of these programs that will be featured throughout the year involve not only organizations providing a service, but also the donation and volunteer needs that are the foundation of those services.
Electronic copies (PDF) of the Human Services Directories for Steuben & Chemung Counties can be downloaded via the website. Print versions of the 2015 Directories for all counties - Steuben, Chemung, Allegany, Schuyler, and Yates - will be published in April. Member Agencies of the Institute for Human Services, Inc. receive a discount on printed copies and have access to all electronic versions at no charge. Apre-order form is available now.
Note the Last Updated Date at the foot of any agency or program record.
If your agency needs to update its information, please contact us.
